Can an account in a Cingular Contract be transferred to another account?

For instance, if we pick up a new phone for my fiancee tomorrow, and she signs a 1 year contract under our big family plan...

In 6 months, if we decided to migrate into our own account, will we have any trouble with hers since she still has 6 months left on her contract? From what I recall from years back, they just transfer the contract, since shes not technically disconnecting service, just moving it.

Anyone know?

I know you can transfer ownership of a contract to avoid early termination fees, so I assume you could do what you want to do.

You can transfer the contract... Its called "transfer of financial reponsibility."
