That's the long and the short of it, can an Epox 8RDA+ OC a 2100+ Pal with stock cooling without closing bridges or using wire loops?
The bonus, unrelated question:
My wife is inheriting my old ASUS A7A-266 w/ a 900 Duron (200 FSB) also with stock cooling. I'm considering spending a few bucks to put a T-bird with a 266 FSB in it for her, but am looking for best pricing for performance for this particular board, and I'll need some Arctic Silver and know there's better pricing than $12 shipped from Newegg. So, cheap quiet reliable upgrade on the wife's comp (without changing mobo, memory or vid card) and where to get it from. The A7A is board Rev 1.03 so I can't get into the XPs.
For reference, she's still running a classic Athlon 650 on an Epox board, so this is a real upgrade for her.
