can am2 cpu cooler be used on 939 cpu

i have a 939 cpu using ac freezer64 pro, and im building an am2 system now, a 4800X2 cpu is coming. I want to use my ac freezer64 pro on the new cpu cuz I heard a lot of ppl use it on am2 cpu. then i will have to use the stock cooler of am2 cpu on my 939, can anyone confirm that am2 cooler can be used on 939 cpu? or i have to buy one more ac freezer?

It should work. Can't answer with a definite confidence but I did the other way around with no problem. (mounting 939 stock HSF on AM2 socket)
