I have had a myriad of intermittent wireless connection issues over the past few months ith my work laptop. My current issue is that I can connect to the wireless network... SORT OF

I can access the router CP, but I can't do anything else. Also, according to the router DHCP table, no IP is assigned to my lap top....

How does that happen?

check to see what your router says is it WAN IP and DNS. If it has one write down the DNS servers and make a static IP in the subnet of your routers LAN with the router as the gateway and the DNS servers as your DNS server and see if you can connect. if your router has no IP address for the WAN try unplugging and replugging your Cable modem and then your router to see if that fixes the problem.
