Hi,
What exactly is a "3.06" Pentium 4? Is that an older model or something?
The thing is I am gonna buy a "Intel PIV - 3.0 Ghz - s478 - 800FSB - Box" (is that a Northwood by the way) and I want to know if it can be cooled with a Zalman 7000A-AlCu in silent mode. Thing is that on the Zalman site they mention that the Zalman 7000A-AlCu can cool "up to 3.06 GHz" P4's in silent mode, but I would like to know if that's the same as the "3.0" I described above (Northwood?)? Also, does that "3.06" model run hotter or cooler then the 3.0 I intend to buy (and what about 3.2)?!
Anybody could please explain the difference between those Pentium 4 models and which one runs hottest so I can know if the Zalman cooler will cool enough in silent mode with the P4 I intend to buy as described above? Thanks in advance!
Mike.
