Can a ati radeon x800 handle 1600x1200 res in World ofWarcraft? I play at like 1600x1050 on my dell xps m170 laptop right now and would like a similar res, its the only game i really play other then cs source and ffxi currently got bored of oblivion. It probably should be fine for Final Fantasy XI and CS Source as they are older and not so demanding. can turn the res down on the other games but for WoW i have a set interface mod that I like that resolution.

Processors will be 2 dualcore 5130 woodcrests with 2 gigs of ram so no issues there.

I don't think i want to spend for the 7900 gt which memory problems as other users mentioned. Will wait for next Gen.

I play WoW at 16x12 on my x800xl and only drop under 30FPS in heavily populated areas (IF Bank/Auction house). I'm running full AF but AA is off because text looks wrong when you turn it on (driver/game bug?) General raiding FPS is around 40-50 and is silky smooth.

My CPU is a p4 2.8@3.0 and my x800xl is overclocked about 10%.

Highly doubtfull, the x800 has 12pipelines as opposed to the x800xl which has 16pipelines, I guess it depends how far you can push the OC on it.

I run WoW at 1680x1050 with my X800 Pro with no AA or AF and my framerates stay between 50-60 except for when I'm in front of the bank and AH in Orgrimmar, so I'd imagine you'd get similar performance at 1600x1200.
