Can a video-out card be pluged into a seperate video-in card?

Lets say you have two machines. Both have VIVO cards. Would it be possible to set it up so you can view or video capture the other computers screen from the other? If it does work, any idea if it would be reliable and good quality?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Not sure about the quality. All depends on the cards output, and the other cards input.
