it's not supported by the card, yet anandtech's buyer's guide was able to get it to do so here, using a radeon 8500le (i have a regular radeon 8500). i don't think i'd immediately be able to tell the difference between 75hz and 80hz, but after a while it might cause less fatigue. tia

i downloaded refresh lock, tried it, but it didn't seem to do anything after restarting (in fact, all it did was remove the option of displaying 1280x1024 at all from the display properties. i had to roll back to my old monitor driver to get it to display 1280x1024 again). any suggestions?
