Can a person get a ticket for gawking while driving?

I detest gawkers with a passion. Everyday when I go to work (32 miles each way) on the 101, some idiots will slow down to gawk at an accident or a car stalled on the other side of the road. This causes all the people behind him to slow down and now you have a crawl causing a lot of people to miss their appointments. This has happened so many times to me that it just pisses me off.
I wonder if other people share the same feeling. Is there such a thing such as getting a ticket for gawking?

I doubt you can get a ticket for looking at a particular place, but if they go below the posted minimum speed limit, they are fair game for LEO

I was one of those gawkers 🙁 until I got into an accident while gawking and then someone hit me because she was gawking as well 🙁 🙁

I normally honk the guy down if I find he/she is gawking. But I wish I could somehow egg that car.

you wouldnt believe it. I sometimes go to work and am stuck in traffic for over an hour..just to find there was no accident but all them people were looking at a stalled car on the other side of the road. It makes my blood boil.

thought u meant like gawking at a car or something. I wouldn't mind if someone was gawking at my car, or if there was someone in the car they were gawking at!
