Can a nvidia 6200 TC be unlocked to 8 pipes?

6600s are practically the same price as 6200s...why are you interested?
I have not heard of this being possible.

There's about a $30-$35 price difference. The 6200 can be passively cooled.

The 6200TC (NV44) are a different chip than the 6200 (NV43).

The NV43 based 6200 boards have a chance at unlocking.

The NV44 based 6200TC boards have no chance at unlocking. They only have 4 pixel pipelines and 3 shaders. No additional pipelines are there to unlock.

Ok, that's what I thought. Now, where do I get a card that uses this chip? Everyone I see is a 6200 TC.

the NV43 is the standard card, just 4 pipes 3 verts, 128mb mem on a 128bit bus....yeah they available, im in the UK though and right now im looking at 4 128mb normal 6200's

infact xfx even sell a 256mb version,
