I'm so sick of my Black Berry Smart phone. I want to know if the new iPhone G3 will work with my Verizon account? Thanks

Nope. Verizon = CDMA antenna. AT&T = GSM antenna. If you're in the US, all you've got is Tmobile to hack it on, then you lose Visual Voicemail and other neat little goodies :p

Negative. The Blackberries are probably the best smartphones on Verizon. Verizon isn't really known for having a good selection of phones.

yep. i did. but i hate att. fucking expensive for subpar service. i had no idea what shitty call quality and dropped calls were like until i switched. it's terrible for the price you pay. still, i'm putting up with it for the iphone. as soon as verizon carries it (and without bs restrictions like having to have vcast or whatever their shit is that no one wants) i will switch back. did i mention how happy the iphone makes me? :p

You might have to wait a while...aside from the exclusivity contract with AT&T, there really aren't too many PCS/CDMA carriers around the world compared to GSM/WCDMA.

Anybody hear that they charged Adam Savage (the Mythbuster) $11,000 in roaming fees for downloading 750mb worth of data while he was on vacation in Canada. Who still charges by the kilobyte?!
