Are you guys actually serious that such a thread would be considered offensive?

I can point out several hundred threads that would actually bother someone. Who does my thread offend?

I haven't been around much for the whole moderator change deal, so I hope this is in the right place and that I followed procedure.

Over the past few years there have been many school shootings by people that have gone off the deep end. People have been killed and seriously injured as a result.

It should not be considered to be an amusing incident in away way what so ever.

That seems like a major reach to me. How can you possibly equate someone complaining about an early exam with a school shooting? Just because the alternative option was listed as something painful? It would be no different if the poll option was changed to Seppuku. It REALLY seems like a stretch to me. I'd much rather the moderators here moderated by looking at the rules and not by attempting to twist a thread around to be against the rules. I have nothing more to say -- this can be locked up.
