I use a PC and want to make up to 100 MB worth of data (around 70 1.4 MB JPGs) available for download by folks who use a Mac. I figure to zip them all up in one ZIP file and post up at yousendit. Will their Mac be able to unzip the JPGs from the ZIP file?

Yes, unzipping is built right into the Finder.

macs can deal with any kind of common archive I can think of either out of the box or with free software.

I use the built in utilities for the most part. I have unrarx just in case I hit a rar file. But other then that I'm golden.
