Can a KVM host a Mac and a PC?

The monitor I'm currently using on my PC, used to be my sisters for her old Mac. Could I use a KVM switch to host both a Mac and a PC or two? I guess I'd need a PS/2 keyboard and mouse, right?

They make USB KVM switches too. I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work, the KVM switch I had didn't have any drivers that needed to be installed to use it.

I'm pretty sure it would work, since it doesnt actually do anything with the computers (i think). Esentially it's like a switch and just decided which computer it is sending signal to / displaying signal from

i'm pretty sure a friend ran his power book and dell desktop on a kvm switch, but i'm not 100% sure now in retrospect.

You could buy a kvm switch at a local retailer (fry's) and try it out perhaps?
