Can a Gigabyte P67 UD7 actually support 4 graphics cards?

I see that it has 4 PCI express 2.0 slots and could theoretically run a x8 x8 x8 x8

But realistically, can it actually support 4 GPUs? Are the slots spaced far enough away from each other that you could say, put 4 5850's crossfired on them?

And would they be far enough away from each other that they would cause each other to overheat if all used at 100% capacity?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but was genuinely curious about creating this setup.

Why are you asking us when you are linking to a picture of the board, look at it.

Its obvious it will only support 3 dual slot cards, and thats if you want to sandwich them together. The middle card would get scary hot while under load.

Well that's what I thought might be the case (actually I thought I might only realistically get 2), but I don't have as much experience with it, so I thought I'd ask y'all! :)

Thanks for your input. Guess crossfiring 4 5850's is out of hte question then; even 3 under load would probably cook the 2nd card.

You will need to look into a EATX board and case for 4 cards. And they would all be sandwiched together so watercooling them would be a good idea.
