A co-worker just got a brand new silver 325i and when asked how much it cost she said about $50,000! Is that possible?

And if we are to believe the co-worker, that was that one in a million shot.

Re-edit: $56,384.

Of course no one would be dumb enough to just tack on every single available accessory, or mabey your coworker is!

I'll have to ask her what options she got. I only saw the outside of the car, so I really don't know what interior options she has.

A $50,000 325? What a moron.

Even if she took the liberty of rounding WAY up (from say $45K) that's still way too much freaking money for a 325i.

Now if that included TTL it would be a little more reasonable (which I hope it did, for her sake).

Still too much, a bunch of those options are standard on a 330i. A 3-series thats >45k should either be a loaded 330i or an M3.

Never underestimate the power of a slick salesman or a stupid buyer. The wife of my best friend told us a story of her secretary about a year or so ago. She shows up rolling in a brand new G35 coupe one day. Apparantly she put no money down on this car and financed it for 72 months. We figured she would end up paying well over $50k for this car when all was said and done...assuming of course that she does actually keep it that long.

This is the reason car dealerships will never get to the point where they put the true no-haggle price on the window. There are too many "maroons" running around.
