Can my 430W PS(Antec earthwatts) handle a 4870 video card, the system is a Phenom X4 2.3Ghz CPU with 1 HDD and 1 DVD burner, 4GB memory.

I had the following system run on a Earthwatts 380.

E2200, 8800gtx, 2 HDDs, 1 optical, 4 gig mem

Also had the same system but with a q6600 run for ages on a crappy Thermaltake 550 watt psu which has the same 12v rail amperage as your earthwatts (I doubt it could actually output that much, not to mention its efficiency sucked was only >65%, and passive pfc).

EA430 should handle that system fine.

Just checked antec website. You'll need a molex to PCI-E power conector, as EA380 and EA430 only come with one.
Some retail boxes include one. (My MSI and Sapphire had one) Otherwise they should be less than 5 bucks at shops.
