I hate to sound like an ole *ycoupons gal but Target has some more clearance deals I found today in addition to the 5 disc DVD and Sony psx controllers.

Tents 75% off Got a 3 room with separate sun tent (for beach) for $44
US DIVERS brand snorkel/mask Sports series for $3.74, pro series for $9.xx(reg $39.xx)
BMX Style full helmet for kiddos reg $49 for $12
BMX accessories for bicycle 75%
Basketball reg $34 for $6
Bookbags 75%
Fishing rod/reel combo reg $19.xx for $4.xx
Fishing tackle, etc 75%
Roller blade skates for youth $7.xx reg $29
Car stuff- mats,hub caps,wipers,sun shades
Tools- misc

Also a one-wheel bicycle attachment with pedals and chain that has a long yoke that connects to a parents bike so that junior can ride his bike but can't stray away reg $50 some odd dollars, for $14. Looks pretty neat!

You better go fast cause they won't last very long!

And remember....
Mileage varies(prices depend on how closely individual stores follow scheduled markdowns

I see these kinds of posts at MyCoupons a lot. I've been to Target many times, but I've never noticed these clearance items. How do you find them?

So everything's in a separate section? Ok. Thanks. I'll look for it next time I'm there.

Each section usually has one or two endcaps that are devoted to clearance and sometimes the items are still on the main display shelving. Just scan the isles rapidly for the red stickers (I've got it down to a science). Usually either seasonal or just plain discontinued and believe me they change vendors/manufacturers a lot!

Sometimes they get aggravated at me because I will fill a buggy full of clearance items and take them to the scanner just to see if it has the next markdown in the computer. About 25% of the clearance items don't have the latest markdowns.

I have to admit that sometimes I lurk at *ycoupons because they usually have a daily thread running about Target clearance. I have got some incredible deals in electronics, toys, computer peripherals, sporting goods, lawn and garden, AND tampons for the ole lady! (just kidding, I wouldn't get those things if she was hemorrhaging!)

I lurked at *ycoupons too and was alerted to some great deals. I found the two Super Targets near me didn't have a lot of the clearance items listed, but the regular target did.

As stated earlier in this thread, most clearance items are on the endcaps (ends of the rows) and sometimes along the back walls.

I picked up several pairs of rollerblades for from $4.74 (Regularly $20) to $11.24 (Regularly $80). I picked up a bunch of bike helmets, all for less than $10. Backpacks are usually about $3-$5. I got an 8-man, 4 room, $200 tent for $50. I picked up some basketballs for $5 each. I've heard vollyballs and basketballs are all going cheap.

The one item I haven't found on sale that others are reporting finding is a great quality volleyball net (just the really good net -- not the set that has the cheaper volleyball net and ball or the volleyball/badmitton set) that usually sells for $79.99 and is on sale for around $14.

If any of you find one at the local target, I'll pay your cost and shipping and a handling fee! Please let me know at hork@yahoo.com if you find one and are willing to ship it to me!

Thanks!

Hork

hork,
I went back to another store and got the 4 room tent, what a monster!
Snellville, GA store out of tents
Stone Mtn, GA Super Target out of tents (near Olympic tennis)
Duluth store might have 2 tents today or tomorrow (I returned two that I bought at 50%off)
Other Duluth store on Pleasant Hill near Medlock Bridge (I think) is out
