should be fine although it's probably lost some of its taste.

that's what we were talking about. If the can is bulging, while sealed, means it's got some nasty clostridium (botulinum) growing in it. the bulges are formed by the gas produced from the bacteria as it feeds. Don't eat it if you see bulges. You could get very sick, and possibly die.

that soup was probably process like... 15 years ago... if you're desperate... then eat it.

but then think of the consequences in case the soup is bad. anaerobic bacteria can kill.

if the can wasn't bulging, you should be fine. you will die if the can was bulging.
