Camera superstore on west coast?

Is there a camera store equivalent to B&H, Adorama, and Beach on the west coast? Shipping to Hawaii takes too long from those shops. Why are they all concentrated in NYC/NJ anyway?

a couple of the big NY superstores are owned by 1 extended family, iirc.
