Has anyone ever had someone besides the mfg fix their camera? Is it cheaper?
Or has anyone fixed their own?
The zoom lever on my G2 has a problem where it's loose and doesn't return to center, so it will keep anything else from working until I manually move it over to center, which is very often. I was
trying to remove the front half of the camera's shell, but it seems to be hung around the viewfinder & remote sensor area. I do have all the screws out.
I probably need to get an exploded view somehow (with part #s).
