blah I bought an i860, and have only taken 1 picture with it...... I didn't even upload it to my computer to check quality though.. Camera phone is a big waste IMO after getting one.

Ok forget the Motorola V series. I have a V600. I've seen the V300, 220, etc. If you think this is decent, no it sucks.

Have you seen the new 1.3 MP cameras? They're OK, but not great. They're not new actually.. almost a year old.

Anyways Sony Ericsson's 2MP K750i is just AWESOME. This is like a friggn point & shoot camera. You can make prints...

Click on any of hte pictures for zoom. This phone just came out about a month ago, and I have found a place to get it for free =)

Edit: I look forward to getting a W800i. Will replace my iPod and surely make taking photos so much better... RAWrrrrrrrrr

It's a 900/1800/1900 phone. The place I saw offering for free was T-Mobile. You can't get this phone anywhere except those Asian stores, so yea.... TM is going to use the D750 I think which is the American version of the phone, so it supports 850 MHz frequency. Unless you're on Cingular, you shouldn't really be worrying a bout the lack of 850 with the K750i, which is why I would just go ahead and get it...

I'm still waiting for my 1 yr contract to expire (end of July), but I have referred friends to this store already and I have seen them walk out with K750s =)

Yeah...I'm on Cingular.

Mostly 1800 around me however...I might try it. I have a T637 now and love it.

Ok. I follow cell phones too much right now, but comparing the 1.3 MP cameras Sony Ericsson's S710a is still the best.

Among 2MP cameras, the K750i is THE top camera. IT is THE TOP phone right now without a doubt. I don't see challengers until Nokia releases its MP3 phone. Also when Motorola plans on releasing their 2MP phone then there might be some competition (but they seem to be QUITE delayed...)

Bottom line: best phone on the market right now K750i... in a month, W800i, and soon Nokia's N91.

Sample pic by any chance? just curious

maybe later... i am just too lazy to get off my fat ass and go upstairs to the desktop to upload anything right now... sorry. The pics it takes are crystal clear. And watching ESPN news, or VH1 on it .... the quality is really incredible. the ONLY thing i dont like about the phone, is that the camera is actually located on the back, and necessitates holding the phone at a weird angle to take pics. it took me a while to get used to, but it is ok now. it plays mp3 files better than any phone i have had up until now. and I love having the little removable media card in it.

Best phone is Samsung A800. It's got a 2MP and it looks like a camera when using it.

k750i seconded. it's all about GSM.

there is a samsung 6mp "camera phone" out, but it's basically a camera with phone features added. forgot the model number.

I had a Motorola/Nextel i860.... my coworkers played with it more than I used it. I now have a phone without a camera. ;)

Yeah, the VX8100 should be out soon. Exact same phone as the VX8000, except much smaller, like the 6000, and has bluetooth. I'm thinking about getting it once it's released. Anyone want a VX8000? ;)

Please.. .stop showing off your VGA and 1.3 MP phones... 2MP phones only plz the Samsung 6MP phone is really just a camera. Imagine your Rebel XT with a phone feature. That's not too much of a phone. As for the 2MP Samsung phone I believe the K750 still outranks it in image quality...
