I am pissed off at Nikon. This is my personal rant.

I purchased a FM10 last year in the hopes and expentency that I could upgrade with lenses if I got more into photography. So, this week, I had my sites on the N65. However, Nikon decided to f*ck its customers by not making their cameras compatible with manual lenses, such as the three VERY expensive lenses that I purchased over the year. Now to use them, I have to purchase a 1000 dollar camera, or I can look for a discontinued N70 camera to use these lenses. I am so pissed off right now.

Um, that's how it is some times. Nikon is actually one of the better camera makers as far as lens compatibility oges. Hope you find what you need. Good luck.

Um, mounting and compatibility are two very different things Pepsi 😀
Yes, you can mount, but you have no control of apeture or Fstop with it, so basically its useless.

You can buy adapter to fit between Auto and Manual lenses. Nikon had to abandon the manual mount, because it doesn't have enough room for all the fancy electronic...Nikon is trailing far behind Canon Automatic for that reason (Canon have faster focusing and better TTL becaue it could mount larger rear elements and better horse shoes/ring motors)

at least with canon they tell you up front that the FD won't work with the EF mount. nikon has this supposed "compatibility" thats holding them back, feature wise.
