camera people... minimum shutter speed for non-tripod (camera in hand) use?

At what shutter speed do you consider it safe to hold a camera in your hand and get nice non-blurry pics?

if youre good you can do it slower. Hold you breath and push your elbows in your stomach

I think I have more trouble with my S200 then I do with my EOS.

Use the inverse rule... if you have a 50mm lens, assume 1/50th of a second.. Using a telephoto? 200mm would require around 1/200th...

Hmm, never heard this rule. I guess I haven't run into that situation using my telephoto before.
