Hello,

I've got a questions: is it possible to charge camera battery via powerbank? I've got LC-E10E charger for my camera and it got only EURO 2-pin slot, my powerbank got USB, so is there a way - any adapter or cable - that connect charger to powerbank?

Thanks in advance

The charger requires an AC input. The power bank has a DC output. You need to convert it from DC to AC using a converter, which does not exist for something that small because its inefficient to do so.

You can charge the camera battery with the power bank, provided that its in the camera and the manufacturer has stated it as a feature. USB charging on a camera is a recent feature, so don't expect it to work with cameras that are 1-2 years old.

You can use any DC source to charge your camera battery as long as it provides the correct charging voltage and is current limited so that it doesn't continue charging once the battery is charged. You may find that information somewhere on the original charger or in the manual for your camera, or you can contact Canon tech support.

If you or a friend knows which end of a solder iron not to grab, you should be able to create an adapter cable to connect the power source you choose to your 2 pin connector. Be sure you get the polarity +/- right.

USB provies 5 volts DC. If the camera battery voltage is 5 volts or less, you should be able to make a cable that goes from a USB port to your camera.

Hope that helps. :)
