camera bag for small P&S camera?

My friend is looking for a camera bag for his Canon SD870. I told him to look at Lowepro and Tamrac bags, and that I myself have Lowepro.

He's currently looking at the D-Pod 10 and the Rezo 10. Unfortunately, don't know much about those bags since I only have SLR-sized bags.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to which he should get? Thanks.

Nearly any bag will do; basically just looking for something to protect it from scratches. Lowepro is a very good brand that makes very durable cases and their D-Pod would be a good choice.

I've got a Tamrac for my Panasonic P&S. Fits snug, has a removable shoulder strap and a little zipper pocket for 4 AAs and memory cards.

Edit: Guess it's been discontinued since I bought it a month ago, but here it is: Tamrac 4391

When my wife uses it on field trips at her school she takes an extra battery just in case. The case is a little large with the camera and extra battery but not huge.
