It is salty. I put about twice as much water in mine than it recommends. I have to pee like a racehorse afterwards, but that's the price I pay.

Problem is that I have just become aware of the sodium content in the products we put in our bellies.

Beware of everything that comes in a can, jar, box or bag if you want to live a long life without having to take a bunch of pills to keep you alive.
