Yeah, that cam was pretty sweet. Can't wait to see what a 350 or better would be like, if that was just a "wussy" V6! :D

Well if the GTO is actually going to look like that, then that's one car that's not a fugly POS. Damn that looks sweet.

Performance-wise, it's pretty cool. Looks-wise, it has none of the appeal of the old GTO sitting in front of my neighbor's house. It looks like every other GM car except they put ricey lights on it. The interior looks decent.

I still dont understand these froums i swear, everyone is bmws this and hondas that toyotas are golden and all american cars suck. yet when asked what they drive the majority drive american cars and they love them. Im like WTF.

i believe everyone drives:

1. what they can afford and will get them around
2. what they like
3. combination of the above.

If a car gets u to work and back and yoru happy, whos is anyone to tell you its a POS. I drive what i like and can afford if you dont like it F-- you.

I have owned and driven a bmw, nissan, toyota, pontiac, ford, and chevy. i will most likely be buying a dodge ram with the new hemi this year..why? cuz i like how it looks.

can i afford a bmw, benz or lexus..yes...will i buy one..no because right now i like how the new dodge looks and dont care what other people think. I like it, its my money so ill choose how to spend it.

so stop ragging on what people choose to drive cars you dont necessarliy like.

Yeah, it could look more "mean", but it looks pretty clean compared to a lot of the cars hitting the road today.

Well if a car were an appliance, I would say the same thing.

I have to admit, a '69 Camero would be nice. The newer models are OK (maybe), the IROCs are ishy.

You really think you'll see old Civics around in 20 years from now

Ahahahahah! You ARE joking, right? I still see lots of the Honda CVCC cars from the 1970s!!!!!! Even the early 1990s Civic, if you change the oil every 3K and the timing belt every 100K, those things will run forever! Which is more than I can say for most AMercian vehicles.

You'll see more Civics on the road in 20 years for two simple reasons:

1) Civics are dead reliable and built to last; you easily see 20+ year old Civics and Accords still romping around
2) Honda sells about 12 times as many Civics as Chevy does Camaros
How many CVCCs do you see on the roads now? There are plenty of 70s Fords and Chevys still out there, not too many Hondas from what I see. 80s are pretty much the same thing.

'67 Vette
'57 T-Bird
'71.5 Chevelle (with the 402)

I always liked the '70 Chevelle 454 SS.

The current Camaro sucks nuts for bux. Gimme an '03 Civic Type-R any day.

In San Diego you can actually see quite a few, along with many VW Beetles.

I had a 67 (non RS, but the differences were minimal). The wind noise was loud (no soundproofing at all), uncofortable stock interior, no safety features stock, the car tended to lift at over 130 MPH (voice of experience here), the mileage wasn't great, and it tended to rust around the rear window and trunk (design flaw). That being said, it was still my favorite car. Ever. 300+ horsepower from a 327, fantastic looks, great engine sound, decent handling. It was even a pretty safe car - some 17 year old ran a red light at 50+ MPH when my mom was driving it and hit her. It took out the left front fender and steering column and cracked the exhaust manifold. Accident investigators said if she had been driving her Oldsmobile, it would have taken the front end right off. Not insignificant damage, but repairable. Plus the car was lighter than most modern sportscars. Great design.
