Yeah, we get it. It's not Japanese.

so it would surprise you that I like the CTS-V wagon? It doesn't have to be an import for me to like it, it just has to be a decent car.... and the camaro is a big ugly pig

I really don't like the look of the front below the midline. It's square, blocky and, unappealing.

Interior is crap. I'd rather have a minimalist car like the Lotus Elise. :p

This car should make a great daily driver though. Great car for the masses!

Is right up my alley. I've been looking to get a 50k performance DD but just cannot make up my mind and this is gonna be on the list! At least until it's not.

A niche car for those with the money but not the sense to choose a Vette :) Even at 580hp, I wouldn't expect it to really be as dynamic as even a GS, let alone a Z06. Expected pricing is somewhere north of $50k. $50k will buy a 2010 Z06 with 6k miles :

:D

Many have to have that extra 2 seats.

The new camaro will never be more than a cruiser though due to how hard it is to see out of (top down not an issue though)

Seriously, why haven't you bought the Elise? It's really low hanging fruit if that's your go-to vehicle.

The only way you're getting a 2010 Z06 for $50k is if it is a salvage vehicle or someone screwed up.

"3LT car with NAV, Stick Shift , Chrome Z06 style wheels with newer Michillen PS2 as an added bonus ! "

QFT, dude needs to read more and post less.

HAHAHAHA WTF?

You just posted like 5-6 posts in a row.

I used to defend you when everyone would start dogpiling you in threads, but I think now I see that you're just a straight up troll.

Oh, in case you didn't actually read the rest of the thread, a very low miles Z06 WAS found for that price point, and I acknowledged the mistake in my earlier post easily, like any friendly, honest member here would do.

I've test driven one and you're wrong about people buying it because they need those back seats, at least for anyone that has any sense. Those two seats may as well not exist. The sales guy was in the back seats when we were driving it. I say "back seats" instead of "back seat" because the only way he fit was to sit sideways. Unless you're 5'4" or are only transporting double amputees those seats are useless.

How is responding to posts with reason trolling.

Seriously, I don't need your defense.

Z06 of what year for $50k? Seriously they are out there cheap.

They are a great car, but not comparable to a four seater if that's a need.

So if a $50k Z06 is cheap, why don't you buy one instead of spending 6 months making stupid threads about cars you can't afford in the $20k range?

Dude, I am looking at cars in the $50k range. I am looking at four doors and and least 2 usable back seats.

How about paying attention?

lolz.

That will be the biggest mistake you make.

It's a buyer's market if you want a house...cars are simple.

It's the same thing with used cars these days. But no I'm going to get a house first since it'll be on a loan and the interest rates are low. Can always save up for a couple years and buy a used z06 with cash, until something on the house breaks...

Oh hell yeah! Only 15k miles too! Well I guess that reaffirms my point. I do like the intoxicating noise of a SC, but Z06 > ZL1.

Not really. You said a 2010 for $50k. That listing isn't either. Even if both conditions were met, it still wouldn't validate your point. Saying you can get a good condition C6 for about $30k would be a valid comment. Look at Carmax and there are probably about dozen listing within 250 miles of me with a variety of colors, and transmission selections. One 2009 black Z06 in Maryland probably isn't going to mean much to the guy living in southern California who doesn't like black.

That's not to say you can't get a Z06 relatively cheaply, Carmax is listing a 2006 with 30k miles for $42k a few miles from me. But that is out of warranty, so there are definitely some sacrifices you will have to make as opposed to buying new.
