Mustang. Redesign in 08, Boss version coming soon. That being said, I welcome Camaros and Challengers. Exciting times.

"the Hemi"? Was there only one? Link?

As far as the "original hemi":
There was a 241 Hemi, 270, 276, 330, 331, two 345s, 392 (which Don Garlitz used) and the 426.

...and the V16 airplane engine that Chrysler made :)

the challenger is supposed to be outfitted with the 6.1L, which is comparable to GM's LS2, at least on paper. 6.1L = 425hp, 420lb-ft. LS2 is 400/400, right?

I'd be happy to have one either way:D:D

well lets just see which one gets a higher crash/death rate. i just remember when camaros were still around they were sorta infamous for their high death rate.

It's just GM being the follower AGAIN. They can't even get the quality/fit&finish right in the HHR and Solstice/Sky. I suspect it will be the same with the Camaro- all rushed products to compete with other car manufacture's original ideas. It'd time for GM to be a leader instead of a follower. They don't need to build the Camaro- they need to concentrate on the vehicles that actually support them. You really see how the Mustang is helping Ford- not!

4000 lb sports cars are not sports cars

I'm done with this crap (current mustang owner). Next car for me will be a retracting hardtop miata.

You actually believe it took them 3 years to come up with the concept shown at the 2006 NAIAS? I'm willing to bet when you see the production model in 2009 it will be quite different than what you see now- it'll share a lot more parts with existing vehicles- GM can't afford not to do it. I'm sure they wanted the Camaro to return- but I'm willing to bet that return was accelerated after Mopar introduced the Charger/Challenger and Ford introduced their retro Mustang.

i just can't get into it. bringing back the same old styles from the 60s and 70s...can't the designers come up with a new muscle car? imo, they are cheating since they have no skill, they will use 30+yr old plans and "smooth them out" a bit..
