I am Using a Clark Connect Internet Box as a router and would also like to use it as a File Server.
I can connect to the internet through it and I can Ping it.
Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=255
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=255
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=255

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 1ms, Average = 0ms
But I cannot see the server as a file sharing device.
I tried searching for server, and Adjusting my protocols.
I set up the samba using the web based client HERE
I can see the shared drive on my wifes comp BUT I can't see the clark drive.
I have all the comps set to WORKGROUP as the workgroup. (original HUH?
)
THe comps are named Travis (Win XP) and Laura (win 98 SE)
Any help would be good.
I think (and I may be WAY OFF HERE) tha there is a windows setting that is off.
