A lot say that vodka gin an whiskey all have tons of calories and carbs in them. Is this true

no calories just your body burns carbs and liquor first b4 any food so if your on a low carb diet then drinking may not be the best of ideas....

Yea i could care less. I was just talking to a co-worker who doesnt drink because of this. Im like Alcohol has almost nothin in it but he insisted it did

A shot of vodka is about 100 calories.

Not that it matters to me. Not like I WASN'T at New Deck for the tuesday night special/my friends' 21st last night.

Ahh to be a waste of life.

Do you know why the whole "carbs are bad" thing is in?

Carbs contain CALORIES. CALORIES make you fat, not carbs.

Thus, the fact that alcohol has 100 calories, but has no carbs, means sh!t.

Yea Tuesday night 2 for 1's. Gotta love New Deck.
Its my works Christmas party today at the 4 seasons. OPEN BAR!!! Every friday here is open bar in my work as well. I cant wait

But arnt you suppose to have around 2000 calories per day?
Also shots have around 64 calories. A cheeseburger from mickey d's is 360

a shot is only 1 oz... a cheesburger is many more ounces

wow, nice. A friend of mine is organizing a college night at Moka's on 35/lancaster, no cover, $1 drafts/drinks. He wants me to DJ it too. Good times.

Yup. A 1oz shot has about 64. Who does 1oz shots? All my shot glasses are either 1.5oz or 2oz. And of course the double shot, 3oz.

But figure if you're really drinkin, 10 shots now = 1000 calories. That's half of the calories you 'should' get in a day, just from alcohol.

I was at mocha's. Kinda sux. Been there twice. The 2nd time was around 5pm on a WEd. Only 2 there. We first ordered Jack and cokes. It was all coke little jack. We then ordered soco and lime and the lady didnt know what soco was, then found out and poured a shot into a large glass for each of us and filled the rest with Lime juice. HORRIBLE!!!
Watch out. Its gay night sometime in the next two weeks

Tuesday night is being completely run by my friend. He brought in some of us to do the bar(one of them is my roommate...he was making the drinks with like 3 shots, for $1), the door, the DJ....Moka's itself is only providing the location and the alcohol.

Sweet. Id come. They actually asked me and my friend how much to charge for certain things. They brought out this martini glass except 40 times bigger. You had to hold it with two hands. She like how much for a margita outta this. Im like how much you filling it. She pointed to like 2/3 full. It was insane. sHe then said $15. Im like damn. Id buy that

drink as much as you want, don't worry about calories, or carbs or metabolism rates. That's all jsut junk science.

actually what the FDA doesn't tell you is that they base the 2k figure on pregnant/nursing women. it actually should be about 1500-1800 Kcal but even Americans can't keep close to 2k, *avg american eats 3000 calories everyday

so we end up with shows like the biggest loser...
