Calling to a Verizon Cell Phone

Is it just me, or does it make a strange ring when you call a Verizon Cell Phone?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggggg-beeeep

I can always tell im calling someone on Verizon because of the way it rings... Anyone else?

I'm pretty sure that means the person you are calling is already on the line.

That usually happens when that person is on the phone, and it's ringing in on their end as a 2nd call. In my experience anyway.
