A friend of the family is looking for a laptop for his son as a graduation present, and he asked me if a P3 laptop could be had in the $400 neighborhood. Used is fine, rebates and coupons and PM's are all okay. Any and all help would be appreciated, thanks guys!

Lately Dell has had laptops in the 600 range... too much?

That looks like an excellent deal, but I'm not sure if they can budget that, as the guy is a preacher. I will be sure to pass it along though. Thank you.

Check eBay

Check the FS/FT forum for laptops, I saw a Dell P2/400 for $300 and some others in the $400-$500 range, you gotta SEARCH for them though since most do not include a price in the title (very annoying).

I just checked delloutlet.com where Dell sells their refurbs but didn't find any laptops under $750.

Your best bet is the $549 Best Buy laptop or the FS/FT forum.

It would REALLY help if you linked this thread in your sig, stating something like
