Calling PS3 Owners

I'm in the market for a ps3 and i'm debating between the 60GB and 80GB version. I'm leaning towards the 60gig version because of backwards compatibility. Does the 20GB difference make a difference? What is the ps3 hard drive used for aside from game savess?

Linux, demos, possibly video downloads (in the future). My brother has the 60gig, I may eventually get one once enough good exclusives are out and because of the backwards compatibility the 60 is tempting. Though as far as I know they are working on improving the software backwards compatibility for the 80gig.

get the 60 gig if you want the bc, in anycase you can upgrade the HD with a regular laptop HD anytime.

Nope, the PS3 manual even has instructions on how to upgrade your hard drive.
