Calling fellow TA SETI admins (Crazee,Wiz) &/or Smoke - attempted foundership change!

Thanks to the sharp eyes of bryanW1995 I've been told that someone is attempting to change team foundership again! (Hoopoe from SETI USA, who very briefly (~50mins) joined us, I've PM'ed him asking what's the deal!).

Unfortunately I've totally forgotten how to reject this attempted hi-jack.

I have the founder email add & password, but I don't have a gmail account set up.

Can someone block this change or remind me how to it?:$ lol.

OK, Bryans given me this (thx🙂) to sort it out http://www.boincteams.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=310 ,but when I try to log onto the account via BOINCs site it doesn't recognise the password!🙁.......

they should set up a time limit, like you must be a team member for 90 days or something before you can request a foundership change.

This is the 2nd time that SETI.usa has tried to hijack our TeAm. The bad thing is that hoope is from iran, why is he on seti.usa?

You can be from anywhere and join a team.
Hard to tell what's really happening there, perhaps a probe of some kind.
Anyway - crisis averted. Stay vigilant TeAm!!

well, turns out that hoopoe quit the team to go to seti.usa, so it cancelled his foundership request automatically. guess he was just a newbie with no clue what he was doing. looks like it's set up now so that nobody can do it in the future without our admins finding out very quickly, too, but we'll still remain vigilant!
