How do I get my camera to record for longer than 4 seconds at 640 or 10 seconds at 320?

I have a 256MB card and this is really pissing me off.

it's limited by camera, not space.

if you wanted to go longer, you shoulda went with a Sony, those are limited by space and not camera.

yes, the camera has internal memory that limits the max size of recording. it doesn't matter how big ur cf card is.

if you wanted max capacity of memory, sony is the way to go. although sony has worse quality than canon movies, imo.
