So last night my best friend was over for poker night, we had pizza and about four beers each. All today he has been dizzy, grabbing walls at times, vomiting...

He doesn't have insurance, doesn't want to go to the hospital.

21
6' 2"
280 lbs

What could be causing this? Anything he should take?

Any advice is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Edit,

He took a friend to the ER two days ago, so is it possible he caught something?

Go to a 'urgent care clinic' - Around here it's around ~$65 to see a doctor or nurse practitioner.

He wants to wait until tomorrow morning, he can see a nurse at his schools med center for free.

What if he's dead before the morning? What's he going to do then?

How long has been dizzy, how many hours?

Has he been drinking water? He could be very dehydrated.

I wouldn't let him go to sleep if he has not felt better through the course of the day, it could be something serious.

Hey I'm the one trying to get him to go in, I would love to hear some input from a doctor. It doesnt seem to be getting worse, just not getting better.

ok, go look up symptoms for 'vertigo', usually caused by mid ear infection. take some Dimenhydrinate (aka Dramamine), to alleviate the dizzyness.

it could be something worse thou....

Take some aspirin (it can't hurt).

Is his hearing normal? Does he have any pain anywhere or any fever?

check his eyes and see if they look back and forth as he's trying and follow your finger... kinda like the field sobriety test thing.

if they do rapidly go back and forth, he could be having a stroke and you need to get him to the nearest free clinic asap and tell them he's having a stroke. that'll automatically bump him to the front of the line (unless there's someone who isn't breathing there too).

This has been happening for over twelve hours, could it still be a stroke?

Lol. Hangover.

Four beers over three hours does not give a 280 pound guy a 20+ hour hangover.

Some people are sensitive to alcohol. Since you say that he's drunk that amount before, no problems, then whatever the issue is it could be serious. He should see a real doctor, not get advice from us ATOT "doctors".

Drag him kicking and screaming, if you need to. If it's nothing, he might beat the crap out of you, but if it's something... well, he might still beat the crap out of you, but at least you can treat the issue in time.
