Calling any ATOTers that know about Statistics

I know that this may seem like a basic problem, but i just don't get it.

Random sample of 480, 124 agreed that they cheat on tests. Does it appear that more than 20% of all students cheat?

I did 124/480= .258888

assumed an alpha of .05, the standard, then assumed that "over 20%" was 21%.

Used the regular z-score formula of

z= (p - hypothesized value) / ((square root of)) (hypo (1-hypo)/ 480)

I can't get the correct z. 🙁

Any statistics experts out there?
