Hello. Here is the lowdown: I have a purchased a new Toshiba laptop that will be used primarily to enter accounting data into PeachTree 2002 Complete Accounting. The laptop has the home version of Windows Xp and everything installed without a hitch except I can?t figure out a nagging printer driver problem. The program prints checks on pre-formed checks that measure letter width but are only 7 inches long. The printer is tractor fed the checks and in Windows 98se the printer driver allowed for custom sizing. The problem is that the Xp printer doesn?t have, or at least I can?t find, that option anywhere. It is an Epson Action Printer 5000+ ESC/P 2. Does anyone know where these options are with the XP Printer Driver Settings? Is it possible to use the Windows98 drivers if they would allow for that option? For those of you that stuck around, thanks?any ideas?

Epson XP support

According to that page, none of the built-in XP drivers support advanced features and they recommend you download the 2000 drivers if you need those features. Unfortunately, it appears the last available driver for this printer is what is on the WinME CD. They are not even available for download from the site.

My only suggestion would be to contact Epson directly and ask them if there is anything you can do.
