Yeah it would really result in a higher quality result if you were able to take a better pciture of yourself. That picture is very grainy and would be hard to incorporate into the event picture unless we degraded the event picture itself too

Background: A while back, ATOT helped me photochop THIS picture, announcing that I won some crazy award and signed a contract for a movie. Well, this joke was for my best friend, Ben, who works for Dreamworks and does character animation there, so he was skeptical of that screen shot I sent him, but took a wait and see approach.

Present Time: We haven't talked for a week due to work, so I decided this would be the perfect time to give this story an update. My plan is to tell him I went to some premiere event in NYC, by placing a very amateur shot of ME and photochopping it into THIS EVENT.

Summary: Basically, I need someone with excellent photochopping skills to place me in that picture as realistic as possible. I prefer to be placed towards the end of the carpet so he can't spot some minor flaws too easily. Obviously, the lighting issue needs to be resolved too. Since I don't know the first thing to Photoshop, any additional materials you may need will be provided upon request.

Reward: The winner will receive either an AMEX Black Card Concierge Request (PROOF) or a $30 gift card. For everyone else in ATOT, a little bit of laughs as I update the forum with the story.

What is that?

From what I have heard a black card concierge request is where you ask a concierge some crazy thing and they will do it or find you some rare item. You tell them you want to get into some super crazy exclusive club and they get you in. Along those lines. You ask you them the meaning of life and they will go the top of a mountain in india to find the one person who knows the answer.

Ok, lemme see what I can do.

I'd be skeptical too. You put "Local News" on a screenshot of a French news show........

That one picture isn't too bad... but it could be 10 times more realistic looking if they had done a simple interlace as no TV screenshot looks that clean and crisp.

I am by no means a photoshop expert but since I had it open for something else I gave it a shot. The lighting on your photo is kind of bad for the lighting in the premier picture, so I tried to place you towards the back before the really bright lights. I also had to recreate the rest of your left shoe since you cut it off in the picture.

Casual observation of the photo would probably fool him. Close observation will not.

Edit: looking at it again, the shadows are all wrong. I probably should have added a shadow for you - but even still you look like you're floating through the picture.

Why don't you just ask the AMEX Black Card Concierge to do this for you. It's kinda like recycling.

Shouldn't an animation professional, for Dreamworks no less, be able to tell if an image has been photochopped?
