If you are a brand-loyal Sapphire graphics card owner then perhaps you could answer my query. I have a SFF PC which currently houses a Sapphire Radeon 9600XT (AGP) card. I want to upgrade the card to a Sapphire HD 2600 Pro or XT (AGP version, naturally) and was wondering if there are forum users out there who have owned the Sapphire Rad 9600XT and currently have a Sapphire HD 2600 Pro/XT. My concern is, the SFF PC's AGP slot is on the edge of the mobo and next to the case wall. The Radeon 9600XT fits snugly but its tail is almost touching the hard drive enclosure.

I want to find out if the Sapphire HD 2600 Pro/XT has the same low profile and length as the Sapphire Radeon 9600XT card. Seeing as there are no future video cards mooted for the AGP slot I may as well get an HD 2600 Pro/XT card for this particular PC to get more life out of it.

The 2600XT's are absolutely huge, compared to a 9600XT. If a 9600XT is a tight fit, forget about a 2600XT.

Bah, okay. Would you know if the HD 2600 Pro is the same size as the 9600XT?

I believe the 2600pro is on the same PCB as the 2600xt so same size.

Maybe look for a X1650XT, not sure how big those are though.
