i bought a sapphire 9500pro retail from tekheads in Uk and when i got it had a suspicion that the box had been opened previously and there was no [sapphire] seal on the anti-static bag around the card.
my box contained:
the card in unsealed anti-static bag, manual, drivers cd, redline cd, a black cable, a yellow cable, a dvi/analogue dongle and a small yellow adaptor as well. There did not seem to be any cable to connect the card to the psu [required as it says on the box and manual and website]
in addition i looked online at what is included in the box and found a picture which as well as the above contained a power-cable to attach the card to the psu - this was not in my box. However i found another pic on another review [ironically the pix in the review-link from the tekhead site] which contained all i had in my box and no power-connector.
i RMA'ed the box anywaybut would like some clarification:
#1 are the anti-static bags sealed in the retail boxes [and if so is it with a "sapphire" seal]?
#2 should the retail box also contain a cable to connect the card to the psu?
i am grateful for anyone helping me clear this up in time for when i hopefully get my new [unopened!] card!:|
