quick question: where the hell do you install a new font??? I have a TrueType font I wish to add, and when reading the Help files in Photoshop, they say to install them in the local Photoshop folder. I have done a file search for TrueType fonts, and have examined every folder. but cannot find the correct one. Any help will be appreciated !!!

sorry I have to laugh I know you are a newbie....

Go to Start/Setting/Control Pannel/Fonts/File/Install New Font

Or Drag and drop it in to the fonts folder...
Thats it :)
Install it on your system and Photoshop will see it

actually , it's sad to say I have been using Photoshop for about 3 years, now, and never learned how to add a new font :) I mostly use it for manipulating digicam images of build- ups of model kits that I produce and sell (plug-plug-Black Star Models). Just tried it- thanks much !!!
