Calling all people with Bars!!!

Well we have a bar with a nice tap on it here. We are not using a kegerator but the coil system whereby the keg sits outside the keg alongside the co2. hoses then feed from the co2 tank to the keg tap then a hose from the keg tap to the coils in the fridge witch make it cold. Then after the coils it goes to the tap on the bar. The problem is we are getting an incredible amount of head (which isnt a bad thing). Could this be because the hose going from the keg to the coil's could be too long?

i've never heard of the hose being too long causing too much head, it sounds more like your co2 mixture is off. too much pressure = lots of head, too little pressure = flat beer

yea i just dont know. but if i put too little pressure thebeer flows slow as sh@t and i mean slow. I was about to shorten the hose from the keg tap to the fridge coils. The keg sits right next to it and the hose is like 3-4 feet
