Calling all P.I.'s!

So, another day in my wonderful life and my pita sister calls wanting some infomation. Apparantly her divorced husband is pulling some stuff, or she feels he will pull some stuff soon, and she wants me to try to pull up his records online, anything like a DUI or general arrests ( Ain't family grand?!) . I'm hoping some of this will be public record and I can find some fairly easy, but figured some of the dark corners on anandtech have secrets to spill.

He's in ky, I have name address, dob, old phone #, no social though(yet). Not trying to do any harm just trying to keep the creep away from my wonderful neice.

Thanks in advance!

My recommendation, drop some small change $20-$50 on a site like LexisNexis.com and be done with it. Sure, there's lots of info out there for free, but it can be hard to get to and time consuming to track down.

I'm interested to see if any of this information is available free online, or if all the background checks cost some money. If that is the case can anyone give me an idea as to how much is reasonably. Surely someone has had reason to do this before

Michigan has ICHAT (Internet Criminal History Access Tool). See if your state has something similar.

still looking, trying to look up his driving record more than anything else right now, found a way i might be able to do it for $3 but i dont have his drivers liscense number. Props to pliablemoose for going the extra mile to try and help me out. Longtime member here who has done a lot for strangers!
