well HI! i am a member here and have been a while and i love the fact that we have a 'garage' section now. im kind of a lingerer...

if youre a fanatic visit the samba

but cars are my hobbie. i own a project 1984 VW Vanagon, teenage dorm on wheels. i want to know who else has one? who else has classic vw stuffs? even new?

just post a pic! or video.. or anything. ignore smoke and the stumbling in the video. first start in a long time had to clean things out... also flaky fuel pump i found out. original ohio van been in many salty winters. 130,xxxk+ miles.

Had a '74 Campobile. That VW was great.

Had an '82 Rabbit GL and an '83 GTI. Those cars were good.

Had an '02 Jetta Wagon (Bora Variant). That car was a nightmare.

I no longer drive VW's. :(

WTF...no bed in the back...that's no dorm/hookup.

I knew guys in high school (1989 grad) that got laughed at because of their 'bus', but had chicks in it nightly practically. They weren't bad.

My wife would love a hot pink bus, it'd be pretty practical on our couple + 3 kitties trips. Her next choice is a 1999 style Toyota RAV4

I'm a pretty diehard VW enthusiast, most MK2's but hopefully by this spring hoping to get an aircooled bus.

I had a '68 Campmobile in '71-'72. We used to ride around with the pop-top in the up position with a guy in the top cot.

Great fun, female magnet, and concert transportation.

No heat in Ohio winters, couldn't get out of it's own way and the cops targeting it, made me get a '72 Impala.

id love to get an aircooled bus and bug, a brand new gti also. but for now with no $ ill stick with my van.

ya let me tell you all heat in VW's BLOWS as many have said ( at least older ones). even my watercooled vanagon still sucks, with 2 heaters! and about the bed thing

it does have one. the bench in back folds down into one, all the vanagons that had a 'bed' were like this unless theyre full campers (then its diff..). some only had benchs though. its comfy as fuhhhhhh.
