whats the gist of the ads?
basically, the owner benson hasnt put any effort into marketing the saints games in br, so fans have taken out radio ads to encourage everyone able to attend the games to show that NO and La are still a viable market to help stop the move from NO to san antonio.

It really is not all that simple. The question is not the good people of New Orleans' ability to support a team. It is a question of whether there are enough corporate sponsors left in New Orleans to buy the luxury boxes - the big ticket stuff that keeps a team going.
Many of these businesses have relocated to less moist areas. and many of those are expected to stay.

not a fan of football? good luck getting any other team.
besides, having an nfl franchise would go a long way with superdome renovations, which would bring in more conventions, etc. not to mention all the cash hosting numerous super bowls brings in.

I'm a huge fan. I'm tired of all the talk and hearing how Benson is an evil man for wanting to leave the State.
We can't afford to make the payments to the team that our previous governor promised. I'd like to see a true revenue breakdown to show the impact of having the NFL team in NO.
I'd like to see them stay. Unfortunately, it's not going to happen.
