Calling All ModStream Owners

I bought a ModStream 520w and today I just picked up 2 UV cathodes. All the UV stuff illuminated except for my ModStream cables. I paid way too much for a PSU with UV sleaved cables, and the things don't even light up, what gives.

i believe just the end connectors are UV i ordered one should be here tomarow or so. But i think it just the ends(not 100%sure thought)

That sucks. I just ordered two UV cathodes today hoping to make my case and the sleeved cables in my modstream to light up blue. It even says and shows on the box that the sleeved cables light up blue under UV.

The molexs do glow, but the cables don't really glow at all. I guess maybe theres a weak glow but I think thats just the UV cathode reflecting, my other UV reactive stuff glows great however the modstream cables are pathetically glowing if at all. This is a major let down for me.

This is why you always buy a plain PSU that has kick ass internals and do all the sleeving/modularizing yourself.

Yea well my friend did this and it looks like $h1t compared to the job OCZ does.

And actually the cables do light up, its just they are not very bright, atleast compared to the $2 UV IDE cables in my case. A little disapointed, but it's still an awesome power supply.
