No not important at all...

I'd rather marry a rich woman that knows how to order take out ;)

I can't really cook, but I certainly wouldn't want my family eating out. So, my man's gotta know how to cook and must like to do it. Don't get me wrong, for I'm willing to take the position [not absolutely though] rather than eat out; however, I need someone to give me recipes and I'll make a perfect dish. So far I dislike the kitchen and only go there to "cook" silly stuff to feed my body when I'm really hungry and no one else's cooked. What Viper Magic said . . . I primarily dislike the mess it makes, but I also just don't like the whole process. Ok, call me whatever. But I ain't gonna hook up with some man who thinks the kitchen is my place/spot to make things for him and build some ugly big or pot belly; and I ain't hooking up with some guy who takes pleasure in eating outside all the time or too often. Cute and hot guys usually do the cooking to be gentlemanly and enjoy it, anyway. ;) :D

I don't really care how good of a cook she is, my dad is a chef so I know a fair amount about cooking.

<< I recently kicked my gf out of my house for her lack of cleaning. Now cleaning is something even one with no talent can do...and it sucks if your "other" doesn't. >>

That was the main reason I kicked my ex out. He had a landfill on his side of the bedroom, it was depressing. I'm not a clean freak by any means, but my house looks beautiful when I live alone.

Since I'm a much better cook than my wife, I do most of the cooking at our house. It's been that way for nearly 20 years.
